Matt’s Gallery’s Autumn Programme launches with a solo exhibition of recent works by Gerard Hemsworth. Also in September the first public event as part of The Blackrock Artist Residency Programme will see works by residency artists Rebecca Birch, Bronwen Buckeridge, David Cheeseman and Roy Voss sited throughout the Lydney Park Estate on the edge of the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Plus exhibitions for Alison Turnbull, Hayley Newman, Imogen Stidworthy, Melanie Jackson, Jennet Thomas, Paul Rooney, Richard Grayson, Mike Nelson, Matthew Tickle, Anne Bean, Lindsay Seers and Benedict Drew.

Matt’s Gallery is co-curating (with the Nerve Centre, Derry) a large exhibition by Willie Doherty as part of Derry’s City of Culture programme. Elsewhere, Mike Nelson has been commissioned to make new work for Contemporary Art Gallery, Vancouver; Lindsay Seers is exhibiting at MONA, Tasmania; Imogen Stidworthy is in the first edition of Bergen Assembly and Nathaniel Mellors is artist in residence at the Hammer Museum, LA.
